Dimitri brings 24 years of experience in the lighting industry, combining technical expertise with extensive knowledge of international markets, customer needs, and business development.
His career includes roles at Inventronics, Philips, Delta Light and Massive. Most recently, he spent approximately ten years at Inventronics, where he helped build its European organization and worked closely with customers, partners, and technical teams across the region.
His background spans LED lighting technology, technical support, product quality, international standards and certification, and application-specific lighting solutions. He holds a Master of Science degree in Electromechanical Engineering Technology from KAHO Sint-Lieven (now part of KU Leuven Technology Campus Ghent).

As Business Development Director, Dimitri will help develop new business opportunities, strengthen industry partnerships, and support customer relationships. A key priority will be connecting with European luminaire manufacturers, distributors, and project partners, while facilitating communication with uPowerTek’s headquarters and technical teams.
