To provide luminaire manufacturers, lighting brands, and project partners with stronger and more consistent long-term support, uPowerTek has officially upgraded all non-isolated LED drivers previously covered by a 5-year warranty to 7 years, while keeping the product price unchanged.
The upgrade scope includes applicable products across the SLK and BLK Series. Following this upgrade, the relevant non-isolated products share the same 7-year warranty period as uPowerTek’s isolated driver portfolio.
For products within the upgrade scope, new orders placed on or after the publication date of this announcement receive the 7-year warranty. Earlier orders remain covered under the warranty terms confirmed at the time of purchase.
The latest datasheets for the upgraded products now state:

A More Consistent Warranty Across Product Architectures
Lighting projects may require isolated or non-isolated driver architectures depending on the luminaire design and application. A consistent 7-year warranty period gives customers a clearer warranty expectation when evaluating solutions across uPowerTek’s portfolio.
For the upgraded non-isolated products, the additional two years of coverage provide a longer support horizon for luminaire development, project delivery, and after-sales planning. Customers receive this extended coverage without an increase in product price.
The upgrade reflects uPowerTek’s confidence in the long-term reliability of these products and strengthens our commitment to supporting customers beyond product delivery.
Updated Datasheets Are Available
Customers currently using, evaluating, or specifying non-isolated products that previously carried a 5-year warranty are encouraged to update internal specifications, approved-vendor documents, and project files.
